1 Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Clari application ("Clari", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and bfyaı ("we", "us", "our"), the maker of Clari. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.

2 Description of the service

Clari is a personal expense-tracking application for Android. It provides:

The App operates entirely offline. No account or internet connection is required for core expense-tracking functionality.

3 Free trial & subscriptions

7-Day Free Trial

Upon first installation, Clari grants you a 7-day free trial of all Pro features. No payment information is required to start the trial. The trial begins the moment you first open the App and cannot be paused or reset.

Clari Pro Subscription

After the trial period, continued access to Pro features requires a paid subscription ("Clari Pro") purchased through Google Play. Subscriptions are:

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you before any price change affects your renewal. Continued use after a notified price change constitutes acceptance.

⚠️ Google Play's refund policy governs all payment disputes. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of Google Play's policies.

4 Acceptable use

You agree to use Clari only for lawful purposes. You must not:

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

5 Intellectual property

All content, design, branding, code, and trademarks within Clari and on clari.bfyaı.in are the property of bfyaı or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The "Clari" name, the BFY logo, and associated product marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

6 Disclaimers & limitations of liability

No guarantee of accuracy

Clari parses transaction SMS and statements automatically. Banks use many different message formats, and parsing may occasionally miss, misread, or miscategorise a transaction. Clari is a tracking aid, not an accounting or tax record. Always verify figures against your official bank statements before relying on them for any financial, accounting, or tax decision.

Not financial advice

Insights and summaries shown in the App are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, or tax advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, bfyaı shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including financial loss, missed payments, or data loss — arising from your use of Clari.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.

"As is" service

Clari is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.

7 Data & permissions

Clari requires specific Android permissions to function (listed in our Privacy Policy). By granting these permissions, you authorise Clari to:

All processing happens on your device. You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's app settings. Revoking SMS access will disable automatic transaction logging, but you can still add expenses manually and import statements.

You remain responsible for verifying your own financial records. Clari does not connect to your bank and cannot make, authorise, or block any payment.

8 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Clari, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscription through Google Play.

On termination: all locally stored data is deleted when you uninstall the App. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

9 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Clari shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires local dispute resolution, applicable consumer protection laws in your country may also apply and are not overridden by these Terms.

10 Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified via the App or email (if you have contacted us). Continued use of Clari after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
